Questions, answered honestly
Does Woleta work offline?+
Yes. Capture, on-device drafting, and your private journal all work without a signal, which is exactly the moment you need them on a trip. Offline is a benefit, not an error.
Do I need an account?+
No. There is no sign-up to capture and reflect. Your trips stay on your phone, encrypted and hosted in the EU when you choose to sync.
What happens to my voice recordings?+
Your audio is never saved or uploaded. Only the transcribed words survive. The transcription runs on your device by default.
Who can see my living page?+
A page is private by default, only people with the link can open it, and going fully public is an explicit choice. You stay the owner, and you can take a page down at any time.
How does the premium AI handle my data?+
The basic Trip Brain runs on device. A richer, premium answer sends only a chosen excerpt to our AI in Europe, and only when you ask. We tell you before anything leaves your phone. There is no automatic facial tagging, ever.
Can I export or delete everything?+
Yes. Export and erasure are built in from day one. Woleta is an aid to remembering, so keep your device backup on so your trips can be restored.
